Territorio e tradizioni vengono salvaguardati con feste che richiamano gente proveniente da tutta la penisola e non solo. Famosa la Festa di San Nicola/Sagra del Tortellino di settembre dove le razdore preparano la pasta per poi fare assaggiare il vero tortellino di Castelfranco appena fatto, che tradizionalmente viene servito solo con brodo di cappone.

Complesso colonico aziendale a conduzione mezzadrile risalente alla metà dell’800. Il complesso architettonico, caratterizzato in passato da una stalla, un fienile, una por- cilaia, un pollaio e un pozzo, rispecchiava le esigenze di una cultura patriarcale e di una azienda che da sempre è stata autosufficente, nella coltivazione dei campi, nell’alle- vamento degli animali e nella lavorazione della canapa. E’ circondato da un’ampia area verde che è oggi luogo di riposo e svago, ma anche ricreativo in quanto centro culturale polivalente.

Nel XVI secolo la potente famiglia dei Malvasia di Bolo- gna riedificò, sul luogo di antichi precedenti insediamenti medievali (le prime documentazioni risalgono al 939 d.c.), il loro castello, nato ad uso di residenza per villeggiatura
